The Cambrian Mountains Initiative Area
The geographic scope of the CMI extended beyond the boundaries of the Cambrian Mountains previously proposed as a National Park. One of the six zones identified was Brechfa Forest and Llanllwni Mountain, encompassing 15 surrounding villages and settlements, which together formed the south-western zone of the initiative.
This zoning approach allowed for both strategic collaboration at landscape scale and locally tailored delivery, reflecting the diversity of communities, environments, and opportunities across the Cambrian Mountains.
